Yeeaah, it's great. Privitized health care, wallstreet crooks, college debt, slave labor, poverty, and a massive population of selfish empty headed white treash morons who think everythings fine and couldnt be better. Yup, its just great.
Well, there has to be a healthy average. I'm not from the US, so I may have a different perspective. Your system is not perfect - but the opposite would be a oppressing system, where people are being controlled, and those who work hard get robbed of their labor's fruits by those who are to lazy to lift a finger or get properly educated.
"Its capitalism or oppression!" Brilliant. Just brilliant. You're not a brainwashed short-sighted simple-minded useful idiot of the established order at all. Everythings fine, your masters are keeping you safe, go back to sleep.
It is dogmatic statements like that which make idiot teenage rebels feel like they said something smart. The "establishment" is not evil. Question is - what is your individual wish? Do you want to give more away for those who have, and mostly, do less? I think a hard working individual deserves more, and shouldn't get ripped of. I work and study hard to be BETTER then others, and I would find it a great injustice if somebody tried to take that away from me.
Obviously, no system is without flaws. But I prefer the option to lose a lot, when I can gain a lot on the other hand. It has more risk, but also more reward.
Wow... just wow. I guess you don't have any higher education? Insulting the discussion partner does not make your arguments better or more valid.
So, why do those at the top gain most, if not due to their work?
There are those who own the whole company. Obviosuly they raised it, and worked incredibly hard for this. Ownership looks easy for those who have to work their 8 hours at the machines - but the owners work 23h /day, without free weekends. They have to controll everything, to watch over everything, to deal with all the consequences. It is an incredible amount of pressure. Also - why would it be in their interest to share anything? Why should they? It's theirs, after all, rightfully.
And there are those much-hated managers - those who spend years working through tons of competition, starting at the high school, to be at the top, so that they get those positions. They aren't born "evil" managers. They worked their way there, and it is hardcore. In comparison, it is unbelievably easy to just stand your 8 hours at the machine and complain.
Those on top don't have even the time to sleep or eat properly, they often give up private life for the sake of their workplace.
"Self-serving sociopathic monkeys". Well, who the fuck should they serve? And sociopathic? You only see the outcome of the decisions - a manager sees "well, either we drop the average loan, or we fire 7000 people."
Self betterment... you I meant actually achieving something. I am willing to do a lot - but only, if I gain a lot.
Well, I pity you for your naivité and your enviroment for having to listen to you.
Ha My statement was dogmatic, but claiming that capitalism is all that stands between us and oppression isn't? Give me a break you egocentric moron. Furthermore, "Do you want to give more away for those who have, and mostly, do less?" That is the definition of modern capitalism. If you think capitalism is in any way fair in regards to work compensation, then I pity how naive and stupid you truly are. Go ahead and continue damning the working poor while glorifying the true parasites in suits. Aspiring to join the ranks of self serving sociopathic monkeys while calling it self betterment. Carry on, simpleton. Bother someone else with more patience for condescending infants.
It depends, if there real licensed V masks the money goes to Warner brothers capitalism wins, if there fakes (which they could be because the don't have the red on the cheeks) the money goes an anonymous somewhere the people win.
